JOB DESCRIPTION
Maintenance Supervisor – MEP / HVAC
JOB PURPOSE
To plan, supervise and maintain the MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) and HVAC systems across the Group’s warehouses, offices and facilities, ensuring reliable operation, effective preventive maintenance, safety and regulatory compliance with minimum downtime.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of all MEP and HVAC systems.
- Oversee upkeep of AC/chiller units, electrical systems, plumbing, firefighting and building services.
- Lead and schedule the maintenance team and coordinate external contractors and AMC vendors.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies to minimise operational downtime.
- Ensure compliance with UAE Civil Defence, safety and statutory requirements.
- Maintain maintenance logs, service records and spare-parts inventory.
- Monitor energy/utility consumption and recommend efficiency improvements.
- Assist in preparing and controlling the maintenance budget.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years in facility / MEP / HVAC maintenance, including supervisory experience.
- Sound knowledge of UAE Civil Defence and safety regulations.
- Valid UAE driving licence (advantage).
SKILLS & JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Strong technical knowledge of MEP and HVAC systems.
- Team supervision and contractor / vendor management.
- Ability to troubleshoot and work under pressure.
- Good English communication and record-keeping.
